We purchased this stroller approx a month ago. I have not used it yet just set it up. We are expecting our second child Mid-May so I will know more then...when I am able to use it. One thing I will say tho is that I can push down on the handle bar and it does give approx 2 inches like it is not tight enough. Also I knew it wouldn't be "light weight" but it seems awful heavy ( although my belly seems to get in the way a bit-I am 8 mos pregnant :)

the stroller pushes with ease, but one down fall the kids lay back way to far. not to bad for my newborn, but for my two year old she needs a blanket behind her to have her sitting up.

This stroller is so much easier to push than what we had before- a front/back Graco. The only think I wish it did was accommodate infant cars seats. I know this wouldn't be safe for jogging, but for just walking it would be great. Easy to push, folds okay (for a double).

I love my stroller!!! I did a lot of research and found this one had the most features for the best price [...]!!! My 2 year old and my 6 month old seem to enjoy the ride. The only thing I might change would be how far up the seats adjust, even when up all of the way they are still is a reclined position.

We love this product, but..
By SteelerFansVerified Purchaser from Melbourne, FL on 9/12/2007
Pros:
Comfortable, Durable, Easy to Set Up, Sturdy
Cons:
Bulky, Cumbersome, Not Adjustable
Best Uses:
Infants, Long Trips, Newborn, Toddlers
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:

The product really is excellent, but it said it had an adjustable handle, which it did not. We read that in the reviews, so we were aware of it, but it should not be included in the item description. Another major missing item is a break! My wife skates while pushing our 3 year old & 3 month old & I tell her all the time to be very careful becuase this one does not have the break. Also the storage below is hard to reach if a child is reclined, although that is common with may strollers. Overall, we do love the product. It moves with ease, even with a bigger toddler inside. We can't believe our 1st one didn't have a swivel wheel...it makes a world of a difference. We stopped taking our other strollers to Disney & other places we go to often because this one makes our trips easier on us & more enjoyable.

Great stroller, smooth ride!

I really like this stroller. I purchased this stroller to replace a fixed wheel jogging stroller. This stroller has a very smooth ride and my twins really like it. The only two negatives I see are: it doesn't fold a compact as my last jogging stroller. It is still very big even when folded. The second is the parent "tray" is not designed very well. It only attaches to the frame on two sides, so one corner hangs down and when you have drinks in the holder the corner rocks back and forth. Other than those two things, I really like this stroller. I have not used this as an actual jogging stroller, but it is great for walks and trips to the park and zoo!

Overall good product, but retension clips for wheels are plastic and are subject to breakage. would like to see more durable metal clips that will not wear especially being in contact with the metal axle. Last stroller broke after one year because of this.

This Stroller is AWESOME!

We have a 3 1/2 year old (40lbs) and a 1 year old (19 lbs) and this stroller is awesome! It pushes so easily - you can actually push and steer one-handed if need be. My husband takes both kids and walks an hour or more every day around the neighborhood or in the mall and this stroller does a great job in both settings!

It's a little heavy and cumbersome - but no more than any other double stroller. We have a basic tandem stroller as well as the sit/stand behind and this double jogger is by far the easiest to maneuver. With the wheels off (really easy to do with quick releases) it actually fits in the trunk of a Ford Mustang! None of our other strollers do this - even our single stroller!

It's a little wide for department store shopping and regular home-sized doorways. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it could use a REAL parent tray, (but we can manage with the pouch provided) and a tray or cup holder for the kids would be nice too. But I looked at all the double jogging strollers with swivel front wheels on the web and this was by far the one with the most features for the best price. I highly recommend for anyone with 2 small kids.

Nice stroller for the price
By Karen - mother of twoVerified Reviewer from NH on 7/26/2007
Pros:
Easily Stowed, Easy to Set Up, Lightweight
Cons:
Divider between seats, Flimsy
Best Uses:
Infants, Toddlers
Describe Yourself:
Parent of Two or More Children
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The divider between seats is not made of a very sturdy material. You would have to watch your toddler if you have an infant in the other seat. Sunshade does not come down far enough to block sun. I had to purchase another sunvisor separately. Otherwise its a great stroller for the price and does the job for jogging two kids.

I love this stroller. I go walking everyday with it. And my husband and I took it on a trail on the base as well. The only thing is it still is big when I fold it down so I always have to put one of the sets down In my van when I want to take it somewhere. Mabey it does fold down more. I just have not figured it out yet. :o) Other then that I love it.

Awesome Stroller for the Money

We have a 3 1/2 year old who really doesn't like to ride in strollers anymore and an 11 month old and my husband and I have recently started fitness walking and are logging a lot of miles each week. By the end of the first week, we had literally walked the wheel off of our regular tandem stroller - the wheel fell off 1/2 a mile from home! We tried a few joggers out at our local baby store and we realized this is what we needed. The only double they had was a stationery front wheel - which is fine if you are only walking in straight lines. We were also surprised that eventhough there is a 25 lb difference between our kids, the stroller pushed very easily without pulling to one side. The store didn't have any double joggers with swivel wheels, so we tried both kids individually in a single with a swivel and realized that was much easier to maneuver.

I researched double jogging strollers online for hours and in this price range there really wasn't much of a choice. We wanted one with a swivel wheel option, a padded pull up bar, quick release wheels for easier hauling, 16" wheels in the back and this stroller delivers it all. One disappointment I have with the stroller is that it does not have an adjustable height handle - the single version does and that might cause some confusion on some websites like this one that has it listed with the adj. handle strollers. And while the item details don't list that as a feature, I thought it MIGHT have it since it was listed with the others that did have that feature. Another disappointment is that the "parent console" is really just a fabric pouch that holds a water bottle and velcros around the handlebar - I knew that going in though as I'd read several other reviews online complaining about the same thing. The only reason I didn't give this item 5 stars is that to be perfect it would have had the adj. handle and a REAL parent console - why, if they have them on the single Safari, don't they make them available on the double as well? Overall, we're very pleased with this stroller and the price we paid and would highly recommend parents with 2 kids to check it out.
